Can my VCR/DVD recorder combo record without an external tuner? - magnavox vcr/dvd burner
My new Magnavox VCR / DVD combo recorder has a tuner, I am a new HD display for Christmas, buy connected with RCA jacks for audio / video cable to my DVD recorder / VCR is equipped to. My current analog color TV has to use only one coaxial cable connection, and requires an RF modulator, my combo drive.

VCR / DVD requires a signal source to burn!
If your TV on / V outputs to the recorder and record what you see on TV are connected. Or buy an ATSC to NTSC converter.
