Possible ovarian cancer? - ovarian cancer breakthrough
I am a woman of 16 years, the years I had very hard time and I am currently on birth control but I breakthrough bleeding badly. In recent months, I had increasing abdominal pain, back and thighs, while on my period. This month, my lower abdomen sometimes bad all the time, and I was very bloated and gaseous. I have an abdominal ultrasound showed fluid in the pelvis, but no more. I do not come to a gynecologist for a long time ... And I am a little worried. My doctor thinks may have endometriosis, but my symptoms are similar to ovarian cancer.
What do you think?

Endometriosois I can say is very likely your doctor. Ovarian cancer in young people is very unlikely. It is treatable. However, we still need to see your gynecologist as soon as possible.
Your doctor is more likely right than you. Ovarian cancer is virtually unknown among young people (like most other cancers). Endometriosis is also rare, but not as rare as cancer.
